Joni has over 18 years of experience in the retirement plan industry and is currently the Director of Consulting Services for Pension Financial Services, Inc. She has been with PFS since 1995 and has focused primarily on the compliance administration of defined contribution plans. In 2006, she assisted PFS with adding a consulting group to their firm to provide a higher degree of services to their clients, such as qualification corrections under EPCRS and mergers and acquisitions. She also provides consulting and design services to clients in the takeover and implementation phase at PFS. A significant portion of her time is devoted to the PFS clients who maintain Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Joni will be the Secretary of the ASPPA Benefits Counsel of Atlanta (2010-2011), she is a Past President of the ASPPA Benefits Counsel of Atlanta, and she served as the Atlanta Benefits Counsel Liaison to ASPPA, and is currently the Chair of the Webcast Subcommittee for ASPPA’s Government Affairs Committee. Joni is Co-Chair of the Benefits Conference of the South Conference Committee and serves on several ASPPA task forces. She has been a member of the American Society of Pension Professional & Actuaries (ASPPA) since 1999.
